Well, I'm gonna create this thread to help out channel_v93 with his Card Creation contest with one made especially for spells. Post your fantasy spells here and they will be rated. Here is the rating rubric:

Dragon's Lair
Field Spell Card
Effect: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK or DEF of all face-up Dragon-type monsters you control by 200 points. You may send this card from your side of the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Dragon-type monster from your hand. You may only use this effect only during your Main Phase, and only if your Life Points are less than your opponent's Life Points.

Spell-Field
Increase the ATK of all LIGHT and DARK monsters on the field by 500. Effects of monsters can be used an additional time by paying 1000 life points, excluding all costs.

Nice card! A decent field spell for dragons. Although you can easily summon a dragon to the field, i'll still give you 5/5 because you balance it out with the Main Phase thing and the Life Points.

It doesn't work too well because you can use effects as well just for 1000 Life Points.

Final Battle!!!
MAGIC
[Normal]
Pay 6000 lifepoints to activate. All cards on the field are destroyed. (Monsters and Magic/Trap) Both players then show each other their hands. Both players then Special Summon all monsters from their hands.(That are able to). Everything else in both players' hands are destroyed.
**Two armies are running toward each other.
(Swinging swords and screaming) There is electricity wrapping around each army. (One army would have yellow and the other would have purple)
Mage masters rage

text- activate this card only if you control a dark magician. each time a spellcaster is summoned(including flip summoned, special summoned) put a rage counter on dark magician. remove 2 rage counters from dark magician return one spell card from your graveyard to your hand. when this card is destroyed send a dark magician you control to your hand.

SilentChaos this card is almost perfect because it give u and ur oppenent(s) the same thing but a deck could be build around this card and would be almost unbeatable

Dark Burning Attack
Normal Spell Card
This card can only be activated if their is a face up "Dark Magician Girl". Destroy all monsters on your opponent side of the field with an ATK equal to or less then the Dark Magician Girl's current ATK. If the monster is face down, then the monster ATK is consider 0. Also, if your opponent's has a face-up monster(s) in attack mode and it's ATK is lower then the Dark Magician Girl's ATK, then inflict the diffrence as battle damage to your opponent's life points. None of the controller of this card monster(s) can attack this turn.
Alrighty this card is for Dark Magician Girl and it basically like a Diffusion Wave-Motion, and the reason why i made it up, is because The original Diffusion Wave-Motion is good and all, but the requirement sucks =/ cause the spellcaster has to be level 7 or higher, which meant that Dark Magician Girl cant use it :( (even though she used it in the anime)

EQUIP SPELL
This card cannot be equipped to a Warrior or Spellcaster-type monster. The equipped monster may not cause Battle Damage to Life Points. Roll 1 six-sided die. The equipped monster may attack that many times -1 this turn. This card is sent to the Graveyard at the End Phase.
Art: "Levia Dragon - Daedalus" inside a giant, dice-like cube. Water jets are blasting out of 5 points on the cube, firing towards the shield-bearers from "Ready for Intercepting".

effect: pay 1000 life points. all winged beast monsters on the field can attck only 1 more time if they destroy a monster in battle. negate this effecct for the turn if the monster destroyed is a rock type.

note this card is the only card that can be played while spell canceler is on the field.

ChaosBringer Ok i dont really like this card cause ppl dont play Spell Canceller in deck anymore so it dont really work well in the deck!!

Forest of Confusion
Field Magic Card
As long as this card remains face up on the field, monsters with an Earth attribute increase their atk and def by 300. Count each monster card zone on each players side of the field as 1,2,3,4, and 5, starting from the left. When each player declares an atk, they roll a six-sided dice. That player's monster atks the opponents monster in the results zone. The atk is negated if the result is 6, or if there is no monster in that zone. This effect does not activate when there is one or no cards on the opposite turn players side of the field. After a monster successfully destroys an opponents monster, that player may chose to summon 1 "Ultimate Forest Beast", in face-up atk or def. position.

If they are, due to "Forest of Confusion", negate the atk.

Whenever a monster with "Darkfire" in its name destroys a monster in battle, you may search your deck for a monster with "Darkfire" in its name and place it in your graveyard.
Whenever a spell card is played, place a spell counter on this card (Max.5).
When 5 spell counters are on this card, immediately remove this cad from play and special summon as many monsters as possible from your graveyard with "Darkfire" in their name.

Desperate Times

as long as this card remains on the field, the player with fewer monster cards in their control is allowed an extra normal summon or set. When this card is destroyed, if this cards controller has less cards (monster,spell, and trap) in their control they can take one "Desperate Measures" card from their deck and put it in their hand.

This card can only be played if "Desperate Times" is in your graveyard. This card can be played directly from your hand at any time. At the cost of 4000 life points, you are allowed to special summon any number of level 3 or lower monster cards from yuor hand to field. You are allowed to attack your opponents life points directly this turn, and your opponent cannot activate any trap/spell cards during the battle phase of the turn this card is activated.

Ultimate Rare
For every face-up monster you control, decrease the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 800 points.
The art for this card would have 2 hands like united we stand but instead of holding together they are both making a fist at each other. Each fist has electricity bursting from it.
It is basically the opposite to United We Stand. Since United We Stand is restricted to one, so should this card to make it fair since it can decrease someones attack majorly.
