2, yes, that's TWO, New Pokemon Games

They show up on a dubious date, i'll give them that, but they're worth looking into no? If they're real then yay. If not, oh well.

I can't really be arsed copying and pasting both news pieces over and relinking all of them, so i'll just point you in the direction of Pokecharms. The Pikachu game came from a Pokemon Park leaflet and was reported on Pokelord and Filb.

The Pokemon Ultra game was revealed at a Financial Conference held in San Diego today and was reported on a Press Site covering the event. (Members Only).

So, like I said, real = yay, not real = oh well.

Best to be nonchalant about it right now, we'll have to wait until after tommorow to see if we really can look forward to 2 new games (And one new Pokemon reportedly...)

Pokemon Ultra is DEFINITELY fake. There's no reason they'd release all six of those games again, especially when people can get FR/LG (who would buy the original R/B when you could get them instead? It's not like "Pokemon Ultra" would keep the novelty glitches in). And why would they sell them all-for-one when they could make more money by selling them seperately? Having G/S/C AND R/B/Y is incredibly repetitive; it's not like each generation's games are so different from each other that you NEED all of them.

As for the other game, it seems at least slightly possible that it's real, but it's prolly just an April Fool's joke like the first one. Oh, and that new Pokemon "Korechu" looks too unappealing and typical of anime to be real. If that really turns out to be this gen's Pikachu, I think I'll cry. XD

On one hand, it could be kinda cool (if they did it properly) by making each screen a pokemon game, thus, having (for example) red running on the bottom screen with Crystal running on the top and being able to trade in the same DS. On the other hand, yeah, both of these seem pretty fake to me, actually. (the Pokemon Ultra being moreso, so I'm completely on board with everything Mawile Says) and like Gary says, (since there are screen shots) this news would have been a lot more believable on any other day. Unfortunately, We'll all have to wait until Saturday to find out for sure or not.

Pokemon Ultra - I don't see why nintendo would do this. If Fire Red and LEaf Green hadn't been released, then yeah I would say it's a possibility, but they were released so I dont' see why Nintendo would release the old versions of the game again. Then Again, perhaps this is pokemon diamond/Pearl (Diamond having the three original games, Pearl having the three GBC games) which would be strange and a HUGE letdown to a lot of people. And also, Mawile makes an excellent point, why would Nintendo re-release the six original games on one cartridge when they could sell each one separately? I mean, you can't even Buy Pokemon Emerald and get a full Pokedex from Fire Red and Leaf Green, you've also gotta buy (or at least have access to) Ruby and Saphire as well, so I can't see why nintendo would sell all six together, and not separately, considering they go to such lengths to make sure as many versions of the game get sold as possible.

Hey you Pikachu 2 - now, it does seem fake partly becuase the CG pokemon don't really have a uniformity when it comes to their quality. Some are pretty pixelly (like N 64 games were) but some are GC quality, so it's hard to know what's real or not. However, the thing that makes it seem more fake is simply the date. There are screen shots, so that lends some credibility, but there were also screen shots for "pimps at Sea" (check Google) so this date is just a date to not go on the internet and wait until the day AFTER to find out what's real or not! :D Anything we hear today should just be ignored completely. If the story is still around on April 2nd, however, THEN start paying attention!

Anyways, as I wrote in the other topic, the Hey You Pikachu! DS scan is completely and utterly fake. Pokelord (www.pokelord.com) admitted to creating it, with process pics and everything.

Unappealing you say, Mawile? I'd love to have that new Pokemon! :D

well, that's becasue it's a LEgendary Pokemon, Mawile. I think I read it's English Name will be MowseMowse and it will have the exclusive move "Blank Stare" in which it will look at your character with that same look it's giving in the scan, and your Pokemon (in Single or Double battle) will immediately be KOed. :D

I agree with Linkachu, though, it is pretty cute!
