Could you please post the effect of the card on this thread? As it is not a TCG card, not all of us know what it does.

Gorz has been top tier and a staple in Japan for a while for its powerful effect. It is also one of the reasons demise and other OTK decks are not top in Japan. It is unlikely to be banned at this point or when it comes out to TCG.

WIth that thing, if an oppponent summoned a Monarch, i'd let them get an attack through, jsut to be able to summon this, and get a token as strong as teh opponent monarch...

i kno its amazing but i dont think its quite ban-able

Main reason is u need no cards on ur side of the field what-so-ever making it a bit harder to summon, But, yes i still understand this can be evaded quite easy and he is almost a staple for every deck that doesnt rely on field cards and continuous

lol i was thinking something like that, and this card can be sac for ddv or eev easly and its 2700 beatstick makes him staple in any deck

It is definitely a good card but I don't think it is ban worthy, it is sortov like a Baboon, but better.

This card is pretty good, and IDT its bannable, but if its restricted to 1 it should be fine.

Gorz = great Anti-Burn card, and great in burn decks.

Otherwise, Gorz isn't THAT broken. He requires an open field, meaning he's got no protection from a MP2 Smashing Ground, or the like.

ya gorz is outstanding card that gives any player great advantages especially in late game and it can be a great top deck. It will not be banned but it will be limited like how marshmallon, and the baboon were.

i hope its our next SJC promo or a SCR because i wouldnt want gorz to be runned by everyone(as it is in the ocg its an automatic staple) but if it were easily obtainable it would maybe bother me for like a minute than after that minute ill just get over and main deck that HO lol

Yeah it will come out as a secret or ultra (If it comes here). I mean staples in Japan need to be brought here, its no fun hering about cards that would help us so much and Japan is the only place to use them, its unfair.

yes, this card might be limited to 1. it probably wont be ban worthy...its a staple in japan but the price recently skyrocketed( in the ocg). its useful n i agree with gino_gazilli. if evrry1 ran it, i would cry. its not safe to run morphing jar n draw n atk 4 otk. unless, horn of heaven, solemn judgment, BTH, r face down now. many victories have been obtained in tournaments just by dropping GORZ on the field...

Gorz will only get limited to 1 just as what the japan ban list is right now.. and it's sorta a must have main staple ONLY for the 1st match actually in japan.. it's sided after that..

it is good, but it can't fit that well into every deck and it's relatively easy to destroy. it should just be limited.

If it comes to the TCG, it won't be banned.
It's a great card, but also gives a lot of balance to the meta-game, and IMO would make the game much more interesting.

OTK's would no longer be viable with Gorz running around, and I'd love that to happen.


He will definitely be limited to though. Running around with 3 Gorz in our meta would be insane.

Gorz is awesome. It's sorta like Baboon in a way, and like Baboon, restricted to 1 seems to be where it'll be spending its time.

I've played a bit of OCG myself... Gorz seems somewhat like a necessary evil. He murders OTK decks, and if you want to play him, you have to leave yourself completely defenseless. This also gives birth to an interesting mindgame...

You leave yourself open, let's say... Torrential your Sangan during your turn to clear the field your opponent's side of the field because you can't deal with that threat immediately. You then end, and leave your field empty. Normally, there's no threat for them to swing for damage. Gorz generates an invisible threat, even if you have Gorz or not. That's pretty cool IMO.

Just like Baboon, it'll be limited as soon as we get it. I just hope that it isn't near impossible to get. Though knowing UDE, it'll be a Shonen Jump Championship promo.

Wow, how did this rumor get started?? Goes will never be a Booster Set Card. Messenger of Hades isnt a Konami owned card, and before it would end up in a Booster Pack, the folks who have ownership over this card. as well as the cards that become our next SJCS Promo's would surely push this as one of their future giveaways.

You and I can say, "I wish that Gors would be a Secret Rare in Phantom of Darkness", and someone else will translate that to, "Hey, I heard that Gors might be a Secret Rare in the next Booster!!" And then the next translation will be, "Gors will be a Secret Rare in the next Booster because its all about Dark Monsters".

You guys might not be meaning to say it, but just look at the direction all your post were headed. The thread went from wondering what things would be like if it was released in the English Meta, to being a possible Secret Rare release in the upcoming Booster. If thats not the definition of rumor, then I dont know what else you could call it. Id be more willing to speculate on it as a SJCS Prize than it being in a Booster.

You are really devaluing Gors to think he would have a similar release as Light and Darkness Dragon. Basically, LaDD was like opening a Piggy Bank. Gors is like opening a Bank Vault. No comparison.

For once, I actually agree with System. This card is actually fairly broken, broken enough that it would only be like a SJC Prize, or maybe some kind of limited giveaway card like they did with Card of Sanctity at first.

Thats what i thought: i believe it will be a SJCS prize card. But there is a slight possibility (although it is odds of 4000000 to 1:D) of it being a secret rare.....
