XD.

I defy anyone to read this without even giggling at the thought of this A) being explained to illiterate parents who probably still wont have a clue what the hell the article's talking about by the end of it, B) actually being written by someone who went out learnt all this crap and then decided to try and educate non-educationable people about it and most importantly, C) putting words like 'pwnz0rz' on microsoft.com without a massive hacking...

Ahh, it's made my day, truely.

I saw this something like a week ago. Pretty sad. "Oh noes! He said pwn! He must be up to something illegal!" -_-**

1= L
3= E
7= T

|337 is bet. This is why I like to put spaces in between letters.

I read that awhile ago, I think I left something in their feedback thing. Haha.

For some reason it reminded me of this lady, she said her kid wanted a "jeeterdun" shirt...haha...even though the whole thing is pretty lame.

"Common typing misspellings (typos) such as "teh" instead of the are left uncorrected or sometimes adopted to replace the correct spelling." Lawl that made me laff though. And this: "leetspeekers" Hehehe.

Hehehe...it was quite informative, and a bit hilarous too. Oh...does this mean that we are destroying the base of an old language to establish a new one, filled with strange words with no sense?

Nah, we're just simplifying letters in order to spend less time typing what we want to express. :p

Nah, we're just simplifying letters in order to spend less time typing what we want to express. :p

Which is pretty ironic considering it now takes 4 characters to type "m". |\/| or /\/\. it's still, you know, four. I guess |V| could shorten it... but it's still, you know, three. An increase of 200% over the number of characters required to type "m" back in the Age of Literacy.

And Hydro: what in the seven levels of damnation is that character you used for an R? That thing scares me, man...

o.O You mean the Pound Sign? As in £10.00... as in our glorious currency? :-p

lol, the great pound£! Hehe, I'm loving the "leetspeekers". Since when could we be grouped so? And half of those I'd never heard of... Bit of a learning experience!

*changes all her dollars into pounds*

*realizes she's NOT going to England anytime soon*

Aw, crap.

This gave me a good laugh, especially with the 'pwn' thing. Well, at least I know the true meaning of 'w00t' now....

But no, Microsoft, it was not very informative. It's just more of what I already know....

I already knew the meaning of w007 after Wudge told Elliot who lectured me over MSN :P but I often say woot! as a woohoo style word because it's just better that way. The whole thing is pretty damn funny expect Windows XP leetspeekers edition to be out soon!.

Pounds?! You ridiculous people and your foolish pounds and dollars and euros and yen! In the Kingdom of Pohatu, we use the bartering system, dammit! Paper and shiny objects are worth nothing to us!

All right, whatever. My alphabet:

@ 8 [ |] 3 { 6 |-| ! ? |< 1 |V| ~ 0 |* 9 |2 $ + |_| \/ \/\/ >< `/ an' 7_

ZAKtheGeek

Wow, your alphabet is extremely confusing... especially Z. And N. Like you P though, think I'll adapt it ^_^

pohatufan1returns
03-29-2005, 03:00 PM
Hey, my N is the next big thing in leet! Maybe the Z is a tad confusing, though... I've just never seen the use in making 7 be T when + is just screaming to fulfill that role.

Hydro Typhoon
03-29-2005, 03:16 PM
+ is much better for t than 7

and pohatu, your Z would look better like this: 7_

I like the ~ for N aswell, and the |2 for R, I might start using them!

l33t belongs in the bin. Topic locked to prevent brain damage. :p
