premium pack variants...

i was looking through my cards from the premium packs and i noticed that i have secret rares of 3 cards that were at least i think supposed to be supers instead, i have a secret rare red-eyes, zera the mant and metalmorph. was this intentional, or an accident? all the other versions of those cards were supers not secrets. any explainations

Well I think you got misprint cards, I know friends who have a "Secret" Legacy of Yata Garusu when it is suppose to be super. Hold on to it, it could be worth alittle more.

Hey man. Those cards being all Secret Rare is no mistake. Actually, it is something that is pretty rare. For example: If you were to buy a booster box of Premium Packs, one pack would have all Secret Rares in it, which is SUPPOSED to happen. That Metalmorph you have is the rarest card in the set, being priced at about $30.00-$50.00. Red-Eyes is like $10.00-$20.00, and Zera is $5.00-$15.00.

At the same time, I think you got ripped off, because even if you got those secret rares, those seem to pale in comparison to Marshmallon and Shield Crush.

Oh-kay......

Lets be real with ourselves for a moment here. Does anyone else other than Metagame.com REALLY care about any of the other cards that came in Premium Pack 1 besides Marshmallon and Shield Crush?? Those were the hits of the pack, and they were both Secret Rare, so theres nowhere for them to go as far as variation wise, but Super Rare (and theyd STILL be sought after!!!). As far as I'm concerned, until some of those other cards start showing up in Decks (okay, Legacy of Yata-Garasu and Metalmorph are decent), the rest of the pack was just filler.

So, what we have here is just a attempt by Konami to bring a little bit more "excitement" from a pack that realistically only has about 3 or 4 worthwhile cards. So what if they made a Super into a Secret. The real question is, who was going to use it as a Super Rare anyway???

yeah, dark magic curtain is useful in magician decks. i mean, after all those solemn judgements, who cares if its 1/2 ur LPs anyways. and secret rares just add value to the deck, personally, i like my deck being least rare(replacing shiny cards with not shiny ones) since it gives me a mental advantage.

i got the secret rare as one of my metalmorphs....i will find a deck to use that trap card with soon....(it might not win tho hahaha)

i got two red eyes machine dragons two meatle morph AND two marshmellons with the marshmellown glasses card too i think it was agood idea to bring those cards out if only they would bring cards out with just neos cards in them

what do you mean scans? I do have the secret rare metalmorph the name is shiny and the silver guy has a diagonal lined pattern not on the other cards. are you suggesting we take pictures of the cards and upload them to some site and post the thread? I can put a photof the card on my tcg player main page....
