Ok, folks i have not been active as of late on any forums , so here is some thing for all to join in and to share.

I have created a team for members of these forums called Team TCG Player.

You can join the team by simply signing up and making an account At GameKing.

Game King what is that?

Simply gameking has made a web based yugioh site that allows you to connect to opponents through a web browser, no need for ip addresses simply make an account and sign up.

it is very simple to make decks if you use yvd you can use your yvd decks by simply importing them. if not simply make your own deck through the deck builder.

Once you have signed up join my team for all members of TCG player.

Here is the link to the site, remember this is a web based dueling system no need to connect to others or download any thing it is all there, it is also a good idea to use fire fox as its a better and more safe web browser when playing on gameking.

Mods feel free to stick this if it will help members out thanks.

The site is safe but make sure you have a good pop up blocker and or a good spam filter.

if you know people on here who have not yet joined the site or the team then please make sure they do we have a few members on the team already and we will be holding a tournament just for tcg player members we could have prizes and such but that is up to those who want em.

Looking forward to seeing and playing many of you on gameking.

It's not really just my team it is basically a team for all of the members of tcg player.

It is good site!! Much more stable than YVD, and no one have to worry host or not host.

Quick question...how big of a problem is it if I want to use Internet Explorer for this? I'd like to sign up but I'm worried about the warnings on the site.

If you use Internet Explorer 6.x, you will have problem with effect which make you search from Deck. You are unable to select card from option box. If you have install of Internet Explorer 7, you are ok.

These are only problem I know of. For me, Firefox2 is sometimes slower, but it is not much problem.

Other problem I have notice of, unless there is just player that have no honor, is that sometime, game show different card if you draw card from Deck, like one time, player activate Diamond Dude effect and it say he pick up E-Hero Stratos, but he say he pick up Lightning Votex. Other time, player say he have only 4 cards in hand, but game show he have 7 cards at End Phase of his turn. And when I ask him to show hand, it show he actually have 9 cards in hand.

Oh well... It is just a game.

Thanks a lot. I'll definitely give it a try now...and I'll watch out for those problems, too.

Uni you should know the rules by now. ;)You have good point, but this is not like it is link to other Forum. It is link to site which is very fun to use and as Unimatrix say, it is to make place where TCGPlayer Member can go to make Deck and play game.

I think maybe it should go to yugioh game forum instead if this is truly problem.

I think it should stay, it is a great alternative for those of us who use superior systems (macs :D) and don't have any way to play on YVD. This is a beneficial site. It's not like someone is trying to sell something or steal members *coughNOT EVEN GONNA NAME HIMcough*

Does one have to use yvd or the deck builder (presumably Ronin's) or can one build a deck at Gameking?

Thanks.Its probably easier to do it with YVD, as you can search cards more easily, and then you just upload it through GKO. The only real problem is that Game King is sorely outdated, so you will have to always make sure you have the same cards that GKO has available, or youll get a Deck Error.
