say hello to Gladiator Beast Alexander—a level 6 monstrosity with 2400 ATK and 600 DEF.

This card can’t be Special Summoned except by the effect of Gladiator Beast Dimacari. If this card was Special Summoned, it’s not affected by Spell Cards. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon a “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck, with the exception of “Gladiator Beast Alexander”.

Hmm, now this looks interesting. Is this it for the Gladiator beasts or will there be more besides this and octavius?

Gladials are preety much pwnage. They are not as rush as 6 sam but they are much more consistant and have ungodly draw power. Expect to see them played.

Gladial beasts have a lot of potential. After battle you can replace your gladial beast w/ another to constantly adjust to the current situation.

These beasts are good but they'll need to win quickly. If a duel drags on, you may end up drawing nothing but the monsters you've been replacing the whole time. Alexander's one of the gladiators that you won't mind normal summoning in order to trade with another 2400. Then, play Waboku if you want and turn Alexander into something else.

I love how versatile the GA's are. Not swarm, but if you play them, you're almost always guaranteed to have a monster defending your life points. I'm going to the Sneak Preview on Sunday. It will be like the Strike of Neos Sneak Preview, where all the decks will be centered around the Gladial Beasts. I'm going to stock up on them and clobber my friend when I get home.
