Has anyone tried this deck out?

it usually kills turn 5 or 6 i am still tinkering with it. any coments? how do you stop cranial exstraction from removing the charbelchers? that is my only real worry.
try counter spell that is about the only thing i can think of right now, try like mana leak , hinder, Hisokas difiance, Rewind, vex( ;( ) etc....

maybe 1 more fabricate to try and get the belcher turn 2 or 3 and play it turn 3 or 4. i dont like to cast the belcher until i get 7 mana so that i can play it and go off in one turn that prevents a naturalize or any thing else from stopping the belcher!

Cut the Mountian theres really no point for i to be in the deck. Yes it doubles the damage but your going to wnt to search all the land out of your deck anyways. Also you have nothing that has red in its casting cost. Third if you need to activate Charbelcher in a pinch your very unlikly to hit that single Mountian. Fourth in a deck this mana light you can't afford to draw a land that doesn't let you cast a spell. If the Mountian is you your opening hand pretty much a muligan.
Your list looks very solid otherwise. The only suggestion I would make is move the Ensnaring Bridges to the board and put Sensei's Diving Top in its place.

Suprisingly, this deck doesn't encounter mana problems that often, but it still loses to Mana Leak/Cranial Extraction. Serum Power takes care of that usually, or MWS sucks. Lead with an early talisman + mana search, and you're set by turn 4-5. Lose Hope is essential to remove Viridian Zealot, which is mainboarded in Beacon Green. Otherwise, SB tries to stall out to pull off combo.

why don't you run 4 Gifts ungiven? With the cards you have,
you can basicaly tutor for a belcher, I would run witness if I were you.

maybe the mountain should go but if i need to go off and there are two lands left in the deck it is better to reveil a mountain than and island after 4 or 3 cards! bridges should definately go to the s/b for divining tops. x4 defense grid in the sideboard just makes mono blue die because with a land and a chrome mox it hits my board on turn one before they can even play a land. viridian zealot posses me no problem b/c when i drop the belcher i have 7 mana available for it to go off.

why run gifts ungiven for 4 when i can run x4 fabricate for 3 and i would be sure i would actually get the belcher!

I could see a 10 land belcher but this is too inconstant and extreme. If you do go with 10 land it opens up counterspells to you.

the deck is very consitant it almost always gives me a mana producer on turn one and when it doesn't i just mulligan using serume powder. construct the deck the playtest it an you will see.

you are missing the whole point of the deck if you think counter spells belong in this deck!

Your justifing the use of the Mountian based on a very specific situation. The Island/Forest would be more useful more of the time and when your running only seven land to begin with you can't aford to draw a land that doesn't produce G or U.

the situation arises quite often. you would be surprised how many times i had the belcher in hand with the mana to play it and knew that there were still 2 or 3 lands in the deck!

Isn't there a way to like splinter/eradicate your lands and then make it a heavy control deck? and using the belch as your "win".. You would use green (ofcourse.. duh) to thin your library of the other lands (then the forests) then remove all your forests from your lib and belch for "teh victory"..

Splinter/Eradicate plus anything that turns lands into artifacts/animates them.

This thread seems really random to me has anyone played the belcher decks against good competition and had them work?
Against Cranial extraction try your hardest to play the belcher early. pre side board there isn't nearly as much Artifact hate out there as there used to be.
No mountains.
Don't try to do to much this is a combo deck and as such does not have time to slow down to counter other peoples stuff.

Galvatron its really becoming painful to attempt to read your posts. I'm guessing your trying to say run Kodama's Reach over Rampant Growth. Also run two to three Ensnaring(?) Bridges? I have no clue what "arna" is.
But if thats what you ment I disagree. Rampant Growht is a a mana cheeper that Kodama's Reach which can mkae all the diffrence when you only have seven lands in your deck. Ensnaring Bridge is kinda iffy. The good version of White Weenie doesn't have any creatures with power over two and eight that have power of one.

I've tried it against toothand nail, mono black rats, blue /green/black control and big red. tooth and nail give it a 50/50 chance because if you hit belcher be fore they hit oblivion stone you win! plow under doesn't do much against this deck. rats is about 90% win in favor of belcher b/c your had is usually empty by the time they do anything. b/g/b control can be tricky before sideboard about 50/50. big red is a walk through the park!!! X4 kodamas reach is a must i have come to find out and any creature -birds are useless they just get blown up [birds eventually to but after they serve there purpose]

the mana leaks are good i mean KCI ran condasend!!!
i like the 1 mountain, 3 ice bridges and 3 tailsmans that produce red for 4 maindeck songs i mean that is 7 ways to get red...
with those you can drop the belcher and win
now the only problem with this is that you have the chance of not winning in one hit like you do with the bad staff belcher
did anyone else notice that in the main post he ran 8 wayfarers baubles???
EDIT: birds also add red:D so that makes 11 ways
EDIT: if you want to get really into it chrome moxe would put it up to 15 but come on if you are imprinting a red on it MOST likly you need it for just for a mana not a red mana:D

It was ran simpily because it says Scry 2 and could counter something on rare occasion.

anyways you can also run condsend instead of leak!!! which idk i put mana leak instead of.... wait it was because this deck does not have the sinking powers but you can replace them all with serum powder

use both or if you have only 4 slots use 2 of each... it really depends on your build but most likly you want both

How about if you make it r//u and run about 16 lands with 4 moxes. Then stuff your deck with thinners that can take out lands so that you can thin your deck to 7 or so lands in a hurry. Think about turn land, sakura, sack sakura, then turn 2 sylvan scrying rampant growth. Then turn 3 gifts ungiven. That right there is 8 lands out of your deck and a turn 4 belcher in play, plus you can use the blue card that fetches an artifact from your deck and 4 tops to get your belcher since top should show a new card each and every turn. This would also be resilient to control because you could search up a boseju with ease also. I think I just convinced my self to throw togather a deck.

a good white card to side in against ponza is cod red, you will still get your 7 mana to cast a tnn with the 2 fatties in your hand that will single handley demolish ponza.
