Battle Tower, Saphire: do you have to go through 100 battles on one level, or either?

in saphire (and Ruby too I guess) when you are going for 100 straight wins, can you do some on level 50 and some on level 100 or does it HAVE to all be on one level or the other? I was halfway through a battle on level 50 (had gotten up to 42 wins) when my battery died, so I have to start all over again (I'm at 56 wins now, but only 14 are consecutive) so I'm wondering can I do 50 (or so) battles in a row on level 50, (to get the award ribbon and Silver Shield) and then do the rest on level 100, or do I have to do ALL 100 on level 50 OR on level 100 to get both shields and the award ribbon? Thanks!

... To do it 'straight' you have to do it all in one go. Doing half of it in one competition and the other half in another kinda defeats the point.

AW! that sucks. Okay, then just so I don't end up wasting a bunch of time, does it matter which I go into? (lv 50 or Lv 100) Or as long as I do 100 battles in level 50 or Level 100 I will still get the same prizes? Or is level 50 just a big scam and I actually HAVE to do it all in level 100 to get the prizes?

As far as I know (I don't bother with it that much myself), it doesn't matter which one you do.

That would be awfully cheap if you could do half and half, because the pokemon do get a lot tougher as you go, so by 100 wins, the battles will be hard. I have 56 wins right now on lvl.100

At least for me, the opponents didn't seem to get harder the more of them I beat. In fact, the last Pokemon I faced before getting the "100 straight wins" shield was a Hariyama that repeatedly used Earthquake on my my Latias before I pwned it with a Calm Mind boosted Psychic. ^^;;

yeah, I agree, in fact, several times I fought the same trainers with the same pokemon on lv 70+ that I fought on level 1+ (I only remember because they had odd names or odd sayings, so I started keeping track and sure enough, same pokemon)
