You know a very simple way to solve the problem is to make chaos monsters for the other attributes, water and fire, rock and wind how about doing that, earth and fire or whatever combo. You can creat like two new chaos monsters and you dont have to call them chaos but they can have the same attributes or equally strong effects as BLS or CED.

That is a great idea for other Chaos like monsters to rival Black Luster Soldier. It would be neat to hear a kid running a Dinosaur Deck say I remove 2 Dinosaurs from my graveyard and summon Chaosaurs Rex.
And since Dinosaur has some bounce themes already with Hyper Hammer Head, Chaosaurs Rex would be a 2700 attacker whose effect reads 'Discard one card from your hand to return one monster on the field to the owners hand. Use effect only once per turn'
I have not thought of creating Chaos monsters for other types and attributes. I like that idea.

Complaining. People who complain about a lack of originality in decks must face 100% same decks. I face alot of Chaos decks in my meta, but they always have new things in them like Goat Control, Spellcaster, Beatdown, Warrior, Machines and a bunch of other stuff. That is like saying all Beatdown decks are the same, well essentially all decks are the same in Yu-Gi-Oh! cuz of the way they make traps/magic cards. Look at any deck that is really good on this site and they will have at least 15+ of the same cards.

I don't like that chaos idea because I am so sick of fighting chaos every week. Its just annoying.

JinzoMaster - You say, "look at any deck that is really good on this site, and they will have at least 15+ of the same cards." I could not agree more, and that is the problem I see in Yugioh. I want to see decks that do not have a single card in common play for the National Championship, or at least only 5 similar cards. You see that in Vs. System and Magic, but not so much in Yugioh.
Again, I am not arguing for a lack of originality among duelist. I think duelist are very orginal and creative. The problems are the cards. Chaos Warrior is a broken deck type that is clearly stronger than any other deck type. With the new bans, Zombie might be as powerful as Chaos Warrior, but that has yet to be seen.

u guys complain to much, the reason most cards alike is because there staples, duh! people use those cards to make there decks stronger, and unless u guys dont use them, i doubt u guys would win alot without them.

I agree with Jesse Colbert. I really see little creativity in decks anymore. But I do see the need for cards like Dust Tornado and Raigeki Break among others, They really are invaluable in ANY deck. But there are still many great cards that people more than often over-look for them.
And I do agree that a deck's monsters should be limited. That's one of my favorite aspects about Yu-Gi-Oh, And I built pretty powerful decks without going outside of the theme so I know it's both possible and fun. But they can't be limited to one type, That's foolish. But I do think they should be limited to two. Plant; Thunder; Rock; Pyro; Aqua; Fish; Sea-Serpent; Reptile; Dinosaur; Beast-Warrior; Winged-Beast; and Beast are ranged from moderately to drastically underpowered. These cards rely heavily on duality to work in a deck. Such as Reptile/Dinosaur or Aqua/Sea-Serpent for examples.
Then there are other types that have gotten a huge boost over the years in the way a player can work with them, Like Fairy; Machine; Zombie; and Dragon. But they are still somewhat limited in originality with what they can do with them and still make them able to compete. They may have gotten better cards, But those are the cards everyone need to use.
The top of the top have always been Warrior; Spellcaster; and Fiend. There really is no wrong way to work with these cards... They just get everything!
...Sorry. I started off on topic, Then drifted into my own little rant.

I agree with Frost Monarch
my little view on staples is
staples can boost the power of a deck
but are not needed just wanted
you can build great decks without staples or few
