other regions in D/P?

Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orange Islands, and Sevii Islands are not in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. There is an additional area in the NE corner of the "world", as well as a bunch of optional stuff that's kinda out of the way.

I heard of someone who used an action replay to turn Pearl into Leafgreen/Firered/Gold/Silver/Crystal/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Diamond/Pearl.

I don't really like that idea since one of the main focus points of pokemon is to communicate with your friends and get the pokemon from other versions.
But maybe I'm just being anal.

First, I'm not the person who did it. Second, I'm not even sure if it's true. It might not be possible to do that.

It all depends on how it was made. If it was made poorly, by an inexperienced hacker who didn't know that magmars don't belong in the water routes (I've gotten magmars caught in the weirdest places over the GTS, and one they was caught on route 203. That person apparently forgot that magmars can't even be caught in D/P, and have to be either evolved from magbys or migrated.) then it wouldn't be fun, but if it was made by a good hacker it might be.

this is technically possible! It would take an advanced map editor to do this not a normal action replay, action replay max that is a map editor isnt even good enough, next it would have to ba a pretty smart person to put all of that data in there, with the amount of time that has passed from april 22 I doubt that the person was able to do that and catch all the pokemon ect. So yes it could happen but, you would need to be a game programer to do that.

but they could split it into 2 games on the DS like 1 game has Kanto and Johto and the other one has Hoenn and Sinnoh and every time you finish a league there you have to deposit 5 pokemon so you can get all your stuff that would be cool and also if there were wild starters but not commonly though:D

No, there isn't. The only thing from other versions that are incorperated (sp?) into this game are the Pokemon and Professor Oak (lol).
