This card's first big splash was at 2001 Grand Prix Las Vegas, where Alan Comer turned a metagame that was dominated by Trix and Oath of Druids on its head with his format-changing "Land Grant Fish", which was better known as Miracle Gro.

Can it make waves this time around?

This guy looks sweet in future G/R or G/B builds. Post rotation we loose remand and char, but we gain (or already have) Psionic Blast and Delay. I am thinking that a new G/U with some combination of Llanowar Elves, Birds of Paradise, Scryb Ranger, Spectral Force, Quirion Dryad, Tarmogoyf, Ohran Viper, Psionic Bast and Delay is looking good.

Wow this to me is the most exciting card in X. I had a good idea that it was in so I bought a playset for $6 at regionals. G\U\w Gro in standard will be retarded I do belive. Plus we get Spiketail hatchling. Throw in some Mystic Enforcer and Tarmagorf and you got something wicked.

Finally, a deck I can actually use my psionics in sweet.

So if you cast Sliver Leigon, how many counters does it get?

Whenever you cast a spell, the Dryad asks, "Is this a red, blue, white or black spell? Yes or no?" If yes, you get a counter, if not, you don't. It only triggers once even if the spell is more than one color.

Dryad goes perfectly with Plaxcaster Frogling... too bad that will only be legal for a few months!
