Well its done. I have found my deck for block. I have done extensive testing and this deck is now 10-1 (the 1 being a fluke on mana flood but nvm that). Snakes with a small black splash. Heres the deck.
4x Orochi Leafcaller
4x Sosuke son
2x Sachi daughter
2x Seshiro Anointed
3x Patron of Orochi
4x Time of Need
1x Jitte (trust me, it works)
4x Orochi Sustainer
4x Tribe Elder
4x Psychic Spear
4x Sosuke Summon's (yes I just changed it, sue me lol)
9x Swamp
15x Forest
Sideboard:
4x Cranial
4x both Rends
3x Wear Away
Such is my creation, hope ya like

Snakes sure are fun. Have you considered using Sosuka's summons? It gives you two 1/1 snake tokens and it comes back to your hand when you play a snake. Granted I don't think you will actually need it.

Actually, the more Snake's you run, the more you want Sosuke's Summons. It's just so good! If nothing else, with Seshiro they all have the Basilisk ability, so that they make sure anyone attacking feels it. I would try and fit Sosuke's Summons in there, though I'm not sure what I would remove...

Yeah, well anyone observant enough would notice that my deck is 4 cards short lol. I forgot to include the Summons, so yes I did think about them and they basically break the deck.

I was of the thought that the tokens were only snakes and that Seshiro's ability only applied to your snake warriors. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Find room for 2 more jitte, it's the best card in that deck. trust me.

My deck has been looking at using primarily shamans, but based around snake too.
4 Orochi Leafcaller
4 Orochi Sustainer
4 Sakura Tribe Elder
3 Sakura Tribe Springcaller
3 Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro
2 Hearltess Hidgetsu
2 Kumano, Master Yamabushi
2 Seshiro the Annointed
2 Patron of the Orochi
2 Umezawa's Jitte
4 Sosuke's Summons
2 Orochi Hatchery
3 Enshrined Memories
14 Forest
8 Mountains
Basically, the dekc plays out by getting in a punch of snake tokens via sosuke summons and the hatchery. Because the shamans can produce a ton of mana, an early hatchery can be set at 2 charge counters and still produce enough early blockers against aggro decks. from there, heartless hidgetsu can tap, half your opponents life total, leaving you to either swamp him with weenies or get kumano working overtime to pump throuhg the damage with his ability. i realise the deck isnt really focussed at the moment, but its done decently in my testing. Do you guys reckon its worth continuing down this 'shaman' path, or jsut go full on snake brutality? if you can get In the Web of War in play, as well as seshiro, i'd say that would be extremely unfair.

i dont think this deck needs the daughter what it needs are fast beats and 3 jitte that is what this format is all about fast beats and the "nuts" a test partner of mine recently qualified for philly and he has been testing snakes and his is so fast but you still lose to mbc with nosb you cant win that matchup

I've been having some decent luck with my snake type deck. Only problem is I can't figure out what to put in the sideboard. There aren't really any good answer type cards to put in if you're not splashing colors.

The sniper is an MVP against things like WW/Meloku/Kokusho/etc..
The patron is ridiculous with the hatchery. I was running two hatcheries but drawing more than one late game card that's just an okay card without patron is less than ideal. One-of generally makes it pop up late game if at all and that's when I'd want it anyway. Patron is a nice surprise when someone tries to remove a son or whatever even if you don't have a hatchery.
The banner is almost as good as the jitte if you've had summons going. A bunch of 4/3 or 3/4 (son/daughter) former 1/1s is nice. Protects against laughter also.
And finally I'm considering adding another Kodama North because this thing just wins games. The snakes win if you can get a few in play together, Kodama wins alone.
Like I said my biggest issue is the lack of sideboard options. Most matches I play I don't even touch my sideboard, because aside from another wear away for hondens or whatever I can't find anything else worth having.

After getting beaten an undesirable number of times by a myriad of decks like b/g spirit, b/g control, mbc, and even r/g spirit I realized the deck wasn't going to work just monogreen. It can't deal with anything the opponent plays outside of jitte, spirit deck triggers can outrace it early, and (recurring) hideous laughter was killing me.
Since most of my problems were from instants/sorceries of the arcane variety, I've added blue to the deck and stopped depending on snakes so much while still making use of them. Plus now I have good sideboard options.

4 x Wear Away
1 x Hisoka's Defiance
The banner is the next card I plan on cutting for the fourth main Defiance. Defiance is almost a real Counterspell in block. I'll put either a fourth hinder or thoughtbind in the side. Probably thoughtbind since the hinders are just there for rogue decks like a Heartbeat/Sway deck that I got smoked by.
Kira has frustrated more than one splicing opponent. The only negative it has is equipping the jitte, but having them both on the table at the same time isn't terribly common.
Quashing a Hideous Laughter in the third game of a B/G match was gold. B/G is so much less scary when they can't keep casting/recurring laughter.
In any case the deck is still snakey but 100% better with the addition of blue.
