Tolarian Tecniques 2U
Legendary Enchantment
All spells you play cost 2 more to play.
All spells you play get "If you played this spell from your hand, untap X lands, where X is this spell's converted mana cost."
The students of Tolarian quickly learned just how far to push something to push it back up.

I got this idea from all the "free spells" (ie: Cloud of Faeries, Palinchron)

Wording? I hope the way I put it works for both spells and permenants.

Edits: Changed wording, name and flavor text. But I still like Tolarian's never ending foodcourt kept its students and gym full. :D

Sounds like a joke card.
The name, not the mechanic.

Yeah, I know. I'm open to suggestions. But hey, I'm a funny guy.

Tolarian Teachings, Tolarian Tecniques

I like the conection with the "Free" Tolarian mechanism on cards like Great Whale and Perigrin Drake. Nice card once the name and flavor text are made a bit more serious.

"When you successfully play a spell untap X target lands ware X is that spells converted mana cost" as this wording is more common and already exists on several cards.

Broken. Have you seen Cloud of Faeries and Snap? They have erratas so it only works when it is played from hand. This would make Desire the raffinity of extended.

Here's what it should look like:

All spells you control gain "If you played this spell from your hand, untap X lands, where X is this spell's converted mana cost."

No. That errata applies to the following cards : Cloud of Faeries , Peregrine Drake , Great Whale , Palinchron and Treachery . Snap and Frantic Search have no errata.
